ROCKLAND, ME - At the First Congressional Church in Rockland July 13th, the sea princesses gathered for their first event. This event is the first that the sea princesses go through to start their  journey to coronation night, August 3rd, 2011. Coronation is where the Sea Goddess is announced during the Maine Lobster Festival, held in Rockland, Maine from August 3rd to the 7th.

During this first event the sea princesses got individual photographs taken by Michael Whitman. After the photographs were taken they gathered to watched Bugin, a local movie on the lobster industry off the Rockland coast.
