ROCKLAND, ME - Sea Princesses gathered at Maine Eastern Railroad for a bus ride down to Brunswick to visit special venues. The girls had a chance to get to know more of each other on the bus ride down. Once in Brunswick we met up with the rest of the judges at the train station to go over where the girls were going. Chooses for the girls were Bowdoin College of Art Museum, the Arctic Museum and Music theater.
After the special venues the girls, judges, coronation committee and to meet local community business members such as the reps. from Brunswick Inn and Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber, just to name a couple, gathered at a gazebo. At the gazebo local business leaders talked to the girls about such things, as not to be afraid of hard work and to step outside their comfort zone.
Overall, the trip was great as we had the chance to take the Maine Eastern train back to Rockland. On the train we had the chance to eat a light dinner along with each girl telling us things about someone they didn't really know, that well.
A Big Thank You To:
Wayne & Molly of Luce Transportation for given us all a ride down to Brunswick.
Local Brunswick Business Leaders for welcoming us with cookies, lemonade and giving the girls great advice.
Gordon Page of Maine Eastern Railroad for providing us with a great train ride from Brunswick to Rockland.
Sea Princesses, Judges and Coronation Committee for allowing me to cover their journey.
Finally, please enjoy the following seek peek of photographs from the trip. You can all the photographs at https://picasaweb.google.com/116922025581198149480/SeaPrincessesBrunswickTrip.
