Upcoming Boothbay Region Land Trust events for the end of October

Hike the Halloween Story Trail
During daylight hours at the Boothbay Region Land Trust's Oak Point Farm, 60 Samoset Road, Boothbay Harbor,read a family friendly book while you hike! Follow the illustrated signs along the trail as they tell a tale to get you in the Halloween spirit. This easy 1 mile walk can be completed at your own pace and on your own time and is suitable for children of all ages. Just drive to the trail head and you will see the start of the Halloween Story Trail.  This is a free event and registration is not required. Forest Bathing Walk at Gregory Hiking Trail
From 10 - 11:30 am, join the Boothbay Region Land Trust at the Gregory Hiking Trail,, 2 Sawyer's Island Rd, Boothbay.. Discover the health boosting benefits of moving slowly and mindfully through the forest. Open your senses and connect with the natural world through a series of invitations designed to enhance your health, wellness, and happiness. This leisurely walk covers less then a mile of trail and allows time for reflection and connection. This walk will be led by Boothbay Region Land Trust Environmental Educator and Certified Forest Therapy Guide Tracey Hall.
