Strong low pressure will then likely develop in the Gulf of Maine Sunday and Monday possibly providing the region with a heavy snowfall along with gusty winds. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EST THIS EVENING... ...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING... * HAZARD TYPES...Light snow today with heavy snow possible Sunday and Monday. The snow may be mixed with rain at the coast Sunday and Sunday night. * Accumulations...Snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches today with 18 to 24 inches Sunday and Monday. * TIMING...Mainly light snow during the day and early today. Snow, possibly heavy at times will likely develop later Sunday morning or early afternoon and last through Monday. * IMPACTS...Snowfall will produce slick driving conditions today. On Sunday, snow will redevelop and become heavy at times Sunday night into Monday. The snow will be blown about by strong winds, possibly resulting in near-blizzard conditions with visibilities below a quarter mile at times, especially Monday morning.
