SPRINGVALE, Maine - The 5th Annual York County Regional Job Fair will play host to at least 76 employers on Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nasson Community Center. There is a no cost for job seekers to attend the event, where they can speak with hiring employers, career counselors and veterans representatives.
"The annual York County Regional Job Fair is one of the largest in the state and proof that employers are hiring," said Governor Paul R. LePage. "I encourage job seekers from all over southern Maine to visit their local CareerCenter to improve their resume and brush up on interviewing techniques before attending the job fair. Our career counselors will work with you to help increase your chances of landing an interview."
Job seekers should bring a resume and be dressed and prepared to have an "interview-like" conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas, and abilities.
