Portland, Maine - Join Portland Public Library and Children's Museum & Theatre for a sneak preview of The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine’s upcoming production of Robin Hood. This event will take place in the Rines Auditorium during the First Friday Art Walk on April 3rd. You’ll have the opportunity to watch a scene from the play, meet the young actors, and get to play some theatre games!

Robin Hood is a slapstick romp through medieval times that you will never forget! This fresh retelling of Robin Hood by local playwright Brent Askari is complete with archery, romance, and a whole lot of puns. Robin is an outlaw who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, but does he have what it takes to be a true leader of the people? Pop star minstrels, merry bands, and a hip hop Lil’ J put a modern twist on this classic tale that will be sure to have you laughing in your seats.
