Hall-Dale High School Fundraiser Will Send Students to Japan

at a summer performance in Gardiner.
Farmingdale, Maine - The public is invited  to a fundraiser at Hall-Dale High School on Saturday, March 29 starting at 6pm to help send a group of Hall-Dale students to Aomori Japan this summer.  The fundraiser will feature a spaghetti supper and a silent auction starting at 6pm and five fabulous live music groups beginning at 7pm: The Gawler Family, Clef Notes, Pineland Suzuki School, Hall-Dale Taiko Drumming Group and The Anna Schaab Trio. Hall-Dale High School is located at 97 Maple Street in Farmingdale.  Tickets are $10 a person and are available at the door. Children 5 and under are free.

Hall-Dale's Japanese cultural exchange program is organized each year by Hall-Dale Japanese language teacher Naoto Kobayashi in partnership with the Aomori Department of Education in Japan. The program provides participating students with a wonderful opportunities for cultural enrichment and to practice the language with native speakers and life long memories of travel and friendship.

6pm - dinner & silent auction begins

7pm - UMF's 'Clef Notes' an a capella group - 25 minutes

7:30pm -  (short performances, about 5-10 minutes each)
Anna Schaab Trio: Mariah Charland (Violin), Isabel Charland (Piano), Anna Schaab (Violin)
Pineland Suzuki School
Hall-Dale Taiko Drumming Group
8 pm -  The Gawler Family - 45 minutes
