Local Taxi Company Expands Services

Local Taxi Company Expands Services
By: David Mills

ROCKLAND, ME - On Friday afternoon Schooner Bay Taxi of Rockland received wheel-chair accessible Dodge Caravan taxis. This new addition will benefit the area greatly as those in wheel-chairs can get around to buy food, doctor appointments or just to visit with friends and family. Schooner Bay Taxi is operated and owned by Chris & Renita Merritt out of the beautiful coastal Maine town of Rockland. It is not surprising for Schooner Bay to offer this new service as they were the first to have hybrid taxis for their customers.

Schooner Bay Taxi goes above and beyond to make your experience with them exceed your expectations. They will help you with groceries, luggage, or anything else that you may need help with. The staff at Schooner Bay pride themselves in not being a traditional "taxi service", but more of a transportation service. Your sure to enjoy your ride with them as they have uniformed professional drivers that need to pass a background check along with a training period. Also, They offer their customers with in town Rockland Rider Appreciation Cards and to those out of town preferred Rider Cards.

You can find out more on Schooner Bay Taxi by going to their website at http://schoonerbaytaxi.com.
