ROCKLAND, ME - At North End Shipyard in Rockland, Me there was something really special taken place. A Celebration of a Maine Windjammer named Issac H. Evans turning 125 years old. It appears to the eye as never getting old as her Captain Brenda and crew know how to treat a vessel with love and respect. The Celebration had lots of returning guests, crew members, family, friends and those who love these sailing vessels like Issac H. Evans. There was lots of great food, music, dancing and seeing people enjoying themselves.
Issac H. Evans sails from her home port of Rockland, Me on sailing trips ranging from 1 to 4 nights as they allow children as young as 6 years old captained by Brenda. She is a proud member of the Maine Windjammer Association.
It was great to be apart of this successful event as a lot of people turned out on not so nice of a day with light rain filling the sky.
Please enjoy the following photographs from Issac H. Evans celebration at North End Shipyard in Rockland, Maine.
