Coming Up: Chad Ridge 9 Mile Walk Challenge
By: David Mills

CAMDEN, ME - On May 14, 2011 Chad Ridge will embark on his next challenge from Chamber to Chamber. This challenge involves walking 9 miles from Camden-Rockport Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce to Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce on Park Drive in Rockland. Taken on a challenge like this is no easy task. People should come out for Chad's final leg of this great challenge starting at Jensen's Pharmacy if they can to show their support. Here are some of the details on this great challenge from Chad.

May 14, 2001 - Since starting his quest to drop over 200 pounds back in November, Chad Ridge has lost over 90 pounds. In January he fell hurting his knee. That was a small setback but he has overcome that hurdle. Chad now works out on a regular basis and watches how much he eats. On May 14th Chad plans to walk over 9 miles from Camden, Maine to Rockland, Maine.

Sterling Ambulance will be leading Chad to keep him and the walkers safe. Chad will start his walk in Camden at 8 AM sharp from the Chamber Building and is expected to arrive at the Rockland Chamber of Commerce between 11:45 and Noon.

This challenge has special meaning for Chad he will be asking for donations to help one of the students at The Camden Community School raise funds for her college education and expenses. As there are many worthy charity events like the Miles of Hope Breakfast, your support is appreciated.

Join Chad. For people that want to walk a shorter distance they can meet Chad at Jensen's Pharmacy across from McDonald's at approximately 11:30.
