Rockland, Maine - Rocky's Frozen Treats staff celebrated their grand opening and ribbon cutting with family, leaders from Rockland Main Street Inc, Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, a few bank leaders and the mayor of the City of Rockland on Thursday, July 14th, 2016 in Rockland, Maine.

Apart of their grand opening today, July 14th, they're serving organic soft serve ice cream for a dollar until closing.

$1 Organic Soft Serve Ice Cream Cones: Thursday July 14th 

ROCKLAND, Maine – Main Street Markets, Local Grocery, Garden Café, and Deli is announcing the grand opening of adjacent business Rocky’s Frozen Treats. A ribbon cutting will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 12:00 p.m., providing customers with $1 Organic Soft Serve Ice Cream all day.

Located at 435 Main Street, Rocky’s Frozen Treats features 16 daily flavors of rich, Maine-made Gelato and dairy-free Sorbetto, and certified organic soft serve ice cream in chocolate, vanilla and a twist of the two flavors.

Rocky’s Frozen Treats regular business hours are 11:30 a.m – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Adjacent to Rocky’s is Main Street Markets, home to local and organic produce, baked goods, local and organic dairy, meat and frozen products, daily rotisserie chickens, and prepared foods. Rockland, Maine - It was a great Friday afternoon July 1st, 2016 at 497 Main Street in Rockland, Maine as Gelato Rose owned by Annie Higbee and daughter Cecile Bizet Burbank, Ice Blossoms owned by Robert Arena celebrated their grand opening and ribbon cutting.

The ribbon cutting was short with family, friends, local leaders from Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rockland Main Street Inc and Representative. Rockland mayor was unable to attend.
