Maine Lobster Festival donates to Oceanside student organizations

Rockland, Maine - The Maine Lobster Festival has presented checks to 12 student groups and organizations at Oceanside in return for their help at this summer’s Lobster Festival. Donations totaled $4,450 and were presented to the ski, baseball, softball, cheering, field hockey and girls and boys tennis teams, Key Club, Project Graduation, the Senior Class, JMG class, and Junior class. Medomak Valley High School 12th Annual Cruisin' to Graduation Car Show Huge Success

Waldoboro, Maine - The Medomak Valley High School 12th annual Cruisin' to Graduation Car Show took place on Sunday May 5th, 2013. Cruisin' to Graduation Car Show is a benefit for Medomak Valley High School project graduation.

The show saw 420 registered for a chance to win one of the 115 trophies or plaques, from over 530 autos, motorcycles and trucks on site. Estimate signals close to 2000 people on site. People attending the car show enjoyed face painting, lobster rolls, hamburgers, sausage bombs, pizza, subs, ice cream, nachos and lots of baked goods at the class concession stands. There were also hot dogs provided by Mid-Coast Shrine Club.

It appears this year's car show was a huge success on Sunday May 5th, 2013.
