Maine Lobster Festival donates to Camden Area Christian Food Pantry

Camden, Maine - In keeping with their tradition, the Maine Lobster Festival continues to give back to community organizations in Midcoast Maine.  Recently, the Board of Directors were pleased to present the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry with $750 toward their efforts.
The Camden Area Christian Food Pantry supports those in need in Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Hope, Appleton, Union, Washington, and Searsmont.  Volunteers run all aspects of the pantry, including stocking food at their location on Mount Battie Street and delivering food to families unable to come to the pantry.  Find out more about the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry by visiting their website at http://camdenfoodpantry.org/.

Maine Lobster Festival donates to Oceanside student organizations

Rockland, Maine - The Maine Lobster Festival has presented checks to 12 student groups and organizations at Oceanside in return for their help at this summer’s Lobster Festival. Donations totaled $4,450 and were presented to the ski, baseball, softball, cheering, field hockey and girls and boys tennis teams, Key Club, Project Graduation, the Senior Class, JMG class, and Junior class. Boston Financial Raised 200.00 For Maritime Energy’s Hot Coffee for a Warm Community fund

Rockland, Maine, March 12, 2012 – The employees of Boston Financial Data Services (Boston Financial) in Rockland, Maine are pleased to announce that they have raised over $200.00 during the month of February for heating assistance. Boston Financial has partnered with and donated this money to Maritime Energy’s Hot Coffee for a Warm Community fund which helps provide fuel assistance to those in need throughout the Midcoast area.
