Owls Head, Maine - On the evening of Saturday, August 23 the Owls Head Transportation Museum will be transformed into the most happening joint around at the first-ever Barnstormers Ball fundraising gala. Guests are invited to dance the night away while enjoying bespoke cocktails, beer from Maine’s own Gritty McDuff’s, fantastic hors d’oeuvres and live music by the nine-piece band: Tony Boffa Music Presents: The Carmine Terracciano Band. Dappers, Dames and Fly Boys alike are invited to this ritzy affair set to the backdrop of our dazzling collection of WWI era aircraft and ground vehicles. Breathtaking WWI aircraft flyovers, a specialty silent auction, music and period-inspired games will add panache to this 1920s-themed, vintage aviation-inspired gala reflecting the era of OHTM’s core collection.
