Lisbon, Maine - Do you like Moxie? If so, head to the annual Moxie Festival between Friday, July 11th and Sunday, 13th, 2025 in Lisbon, Maine.
The Moxie Festival has been held on the second weekend in July in Lisbon, Maine for more than forty years.
Join Moxie lovers from Maine, the
US and abroad at the one and only Moxie Festival. 2025 celebrates our 41st year, where the luau lasts three full days as we "Hang Loose, Drink Moxie!"This will be 41st celebration of what is both the state’s iconic drink and a word that encompasses the nerve, grit, and determination of its people.
Moxie Days 2025 will bring on the sun and good vibes, with a luau-inspired, “Hang Loose, Drink Moxie!” theme. After last year’s record-breaking numbers, the Festival cannot wait to welcome visitors to this year’s beachy display of Moxie spirit in the form of three full days of summer festival celebration.
Each day will feature free-to-the public concerts from incredible musicians, including performances by award-winning tributes to The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and more. Visitors can crack open a cold Moxie as they wander dozens of vendors, crafters, and food trucks; watch the largest parade in the State of Maine; join hundreds of runners in the Moxie 5K Road Race; jump in on the Moxie Chugging Contest, whoopee pie eating contest, or Moxie recipe contest. A full-length fireworks display, Moxie Car show with hundreds of classic cars, and more returning favorites join new events such as learning to hula dance and a kids corner with bounce houses, slides, vendors, and more family fun to toast everything Moxie.
Returning fans should note that the majority of events are moved to the Lisbon High School fields at 2 Sugg Drive to accommodate growing crowds. There will be a full-size stage and shade tents available for all three days of concerts.
