Friends’ Holiday Party at the Blue Hill Library

Where:  Blue Hill Public Library

When: Saturday, December 14th, 2:30 to 5:30 PM

Cost: Admission is Free

BLUE HILL--The public is invited to the annual Friends of Blue Hill Library Holiday Party on Saturday, December 14th, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. This much-anticipated event offers something for everyone! The entertainment schedule is as follows (times are approximate):

2:45—Songs and Stories from Noel Paul Stookey
3-5—Drop-in Craft Station for Kids
3:00—George Stevens Academy Jazz Combo, “Melodious Thunk”
3:30—Juggler Michael Menes
3:30—A Dramatic Reading of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol
4:30—Misty Mountain Singers
4:30—Juggling Workshop with Michael Menes
5:00—Caroling Sing-Along

Partygoers are asked to consider bringing a wrapped gift for a child, labeled with intended age and gender of recipient. Gifts can be dropped off at the library anytime through the day of the party. The gifts will be donated to the Tree of Life and The Emmaus Center where they will be distributed to families in need.

Regular library services will be closing early that day, at 2:00 PM. There will be a wonderful array of refreshments, cookies and more cookies. Refreshment donations are welcome if anyone has a favorite holiday treat they would like to share. The party is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
