BLUE HILL – The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library Film Series continues with two showings of Shane (1953), starring Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur and Van Heflin, on Thursday, December 12th at noon, and then again at 6:00 PM. In this classic western, a weary gunfighter attempts to settle down with a homestead family but a smoldering settler/rancher conflict forces him to act.
All films are shown free of charge on the library’s “pretty big” screen in the Howard Room. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
