School Budget Referendum Election
PORTLAND, Maine – In-person absentee voting at City Hall is now underway for the June 11 FY20 School Budget Referendum election. Voting is available during the City Clerk’s office hours -- Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. This is for any resident wishing to register to vote or vote by absentee ballot.
Due to State Law Title 21-A 753-B (2)(D) there is no absentee voting three days before any election. On Thursday, June 6 only, the City Clerk’s office will extend its hours until 7:00 P.M. This will be the last day for absentee voting in the Clerk’s office and
the last day to request an absentee ballot.
On Tuesday, June 11, polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. Based on your residency, you must vote at your polling place (see list below.)
