(Camden, Maine) On a mostly cloudy and cold Sunday morning Chad Ridge took on Mt. Battie a part of his Right Choices Challenge. He begin the morning welcoming those in the community that showed up to show Chad their support. The challenge was to walk up the auto road to the top of Mt. Battie. With the support of the community he was able to walk to the top of Mt. Battie in around 40-45 minutes, which he included climbing to the top of the tower. At the top of the tower Chad had a weigh in, which read 460 pounds, a lose of 15 pounds in 2 weeks. Chad was emotional when he was at the top of the tower from seeing all the out pouring of support. You could feel the support and love from the community for Chad. After making it to the top Chad decided to walk back down the auto road from the top of Mt. Battie. I only have love and support for Chad as he works to slim down by making right choices. My hope is more people comes out to show their support as he walks down main street daily from Monday to Friday at 12 noon. A great point to mention is from this Mt Battie Chad Ridge's Right Choices Challenge is there was around 100 people that came out to show their support. It was great to cover this event as a staff photographer for Shoot Maine Studios, and more importantly to show my support.
