Upcoming Events

Schooner Lewis R French inbound for last year's Camden Windjammer Festival.

The Mid-Coast region holds a lot of events such as the North Atlantic Blues Festival, Maine Lobster Festival and finally the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors show. Now that these have come and go until next year. You may be asking yourself what is there left for great festivals/events. That is a great question to ask as you never know for sure what is going on in the Mid-Coast region. This brings me to tell you all about the upcoming events in the next few weeks. First, you have the Union Fair/Maine Wild Blueberry Festival in Union, Maine from the 21st to the 28th of this month. Secondly, you have my favorite, the Camden Windjammer Festival in beautiful coastal town of Camden, Maine from September 3rd through the 5th. This year's Camden Windjammer Festival is a great way to see the Historic Schooners, learn the trade and so much more, like the all important fireworks over the Harbor that makes this event one not to miss as there be other fun things going on and food. Shoot Maine Studios is planning on being there with both or at least one photographer to photograph the weekend long event. These are just the events that I wanted to highlight as there are a lot of other great events going on around the great State of Maine. If you have plans to attend the Camden Windjammer Festival then please say hi if you see us around the grounds.

Finally, photographs from the Camden Windjammer Festival will be uploaded to Shoot Maine Studios Facebook page and mine. The head photographer and owner of Shoot Maine Studios is Doug Mills. His Facebook page can be accessed by going to my page, so please add him.
