2:30pm in the Rines Auditorium
Portland, Maine - See the show audiences are calling “Superb!”, “A blast!”, and “Heartwarming fun for the whole family.” Join magician and juggler Scott Jameson on Wednesday, April 23rd at 2:30pm in the Rines Auditorium at the Portland Public Library for an extraordinary performance that will have you laughing out loud and perched on the very edge of your seat. Umbrellas will be plucked from thin air, a drawing will come to life, basketballs will be spun and juggled, and a member of the audience will unlock telekinetic abilities.
At age eight, with the help of a stack of library books, Scott taught himself how to juggle and perform countless magic tricks. In high school he participated in the theater program and competed in the dramatic speaking league. While attending workshops in comedy, mime, movement, improvisation, dance, etc. at Maine’s Celebration Barn Theatre Scott discovered that the usual notion of what a “magic show” was could be replaced with something far more creative and compelling. In 1998 he began his full-time career in solo variety theatre and currently travels throughout the Northeast presenting programs for audiences large and small.
