Trekkapalooza Rescheduled for March 27 at The Strand Theatre

Battle of the Bands to benefit local youth mentoring organization, featuring Maine-based talent

Rockland, Maine - Trekkers 10th annual Trekkapalooza event has been rescheduled for Friday, March 27th at The Strand Theatre in Rockland.  Ticketholders for the January 24th show can obtain a refund by calling the Trekkers office if they are not able to attend on the new date.

This year’s “Battle of the Bands” competition features a Beatles theme, with each band competing to win a cash prize, playing at least one Beatles cover. The winner, chosen by a combination of judges’ scores and audience vote, will win the coveted title of “Bus Band 2015.”

Rockland, Maine - Due to the impending major Nor'easter scheduled for late Monday night into Tuesday has prompted Oceanside to move up games to Monday, times and locations are the same. Girls hosting Camden Hills and the Oceanside boys traveling to Camden Hills Regional High School.

Several weather outlets are calling for a major Nor'easter with blizzard conditions and a foot plus of snow scheduled to impact the area late Monday night into Tuesday night.
