Reports state, the plane hit a truck crossing the runway as it was trying to take off than went about 300 feet before slamming into the woods

BREAKING NEWS: Owls Head, Maine - There is breaking news coming out of the Knox county town of Owls Head, Maine. There are reports that a plane as gone down near Knox County Airport.

Officials say a plane has gone down near the Knox County Regional Airport in Owls Head.
The report came in at about 4:45 this afternoon.  Officials say rescue crews are on their way to the crash site. They also confirm that Dublin Road, which is near the airport is closed. There's no official word on injuries.
