NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer College women’s volleyball team won its fifth consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship after defeating Maine Maritime 3-0 on Saturday morning.
The tournament’s top seed, Colby-Sawyer (12-24), won by scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-9. The second seed Mariners drop to 18-13. The Chargers have won each of their five NAC titles over the Mariners. The Chargers have won eight of their last 10 matches heading into the NCAA Tournament.
The Chargers will make a trip to the NCAA for the eighth time in school history and will find out Monday at 11:00 a.m. where they will travel and who they will play.
