Portland, Maine - There will be a Yellow Zone Parking Ban in the City of Portland this evening, Wednesday, January 28 beginning at 10:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM, Thursday, January 29. During this ban, all vehicles left on City streets within the Yellow Zone during these times will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Given that plow crews are still in the process of removing snow from streets in the downtown district and there might not be much available on-street parking, residents who need a place to park after having to leave the parking ban lots at 7:00 AM this morning can park on the Eastern Prom, the Western Prom, and at Deering Oaks during the day today (1/28).
