Thomas S. Litwin named Jackson Laboratory V.P. for education

Bar Harbor, Maine — To advance The Jackson Laboratory’s national impact on science education, scientist and educator Thomas S. Litwin, Ph.D., has been appointed to the newly created post of vice president for education.

In this new role, Litwin will oversee the Laboratory’s pre-college and college education programs, predoctoral and postdoctoral training programs, and the growing roster of web-based educational material, courses, conferences and workshops for working scientists, laboratory professionals and the public.
