MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital to Host “Meet the Midwives” Event

ROCKPORT, ME — To help introduce their expanded team of certified nurse midwives (CNMs) to the community, MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals will hold a “Meet the Midwives” event on Thursday, March 20, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The event will be held at MaineHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Rockport, located on the MHPBH campus in Rockport at 3 Glen Cove Drive, Suite 1.

CNMs from MHWH and MHPBH will be present for informal discussions with the public, followed by a tour of the MHPBH Family Birth Center. Snacks will be provided, and prizes will be raffled off. Registration is not required.

Beginning April 1, 2025, MHWH will end inpatient labor and delivery services on the Waldo campus, partnering with MHPBH and other nearby hospitals for labor and delivery services. MHWH will continue to provide comprehensive pre- and post-natal care at its Obstetrics and Gynecology Belfast practice.
