TERESA FELLION DANCE TROUPE‏


Brewer, Maine, August 17th-18th: Next Generation Theatre in Brewer is happy to welcome the Teresa Fellion Dance Troupe as they perform "BodyStories" on Saturday, August 18th at 7:30pm. This world renowned dance troupe out of New York City has been delighting audiences wherever they perform with their unique style of movement and expression. Teresa Fellion will be leading a workshop on Friday, August 17th from 9am-2pm as part of Next Generation Dance Camp. She will be selecting students from this workshop to join the dance troupe in their performance on Saturday night. The community is invited to attend what is sure to be a fantastic night of dance. Tickets are $10. Students of all ages and dance experience are invited to attend the workshop on Friday for the cost of $35, or they may be part of the whole week of dance camp for a $125 tuition. “FIDDLER ON THE ROOF” JR


Brewer, Maine - Celebrating its Fifth Anniversary of children’s theatre, Penobscot County’s only student-led venue featuring all student productions, Next Generation Theatre at the Between Friends Art Center is proud to present the classic junior adaptation of “Fiddler on the Roof”.  Middle and High School students from throughout Penobscot County come together under the debut direction of Hermon High School’s Daniel Perkins and Ryan Toothaker, to bring this Broadway classic to life.  Set in a little village in Russia, the show demonstrates one man’s commitment to his family, religion and the tradition of his culture that is challenged in the face of a changing world.  Performance times are Friday, May 18th 7pm, Saturday, May 19th 2pm and 7pm, Sunday, May 20th 2pm. Tickets are $7 Adults, $4 students and can be reserved by calling 989-7100 or stopping by Next Generation Theatre at 39 Center St. in Brewer.

"Blithe Spirit"
Brought to us by the students and staff of the Haworth Academic Center, "Blithe Spirit" is a play written by Noel Coward that takes place int he 1940's. The show is about a gentleman, Charles, who is being haunted by his late first wife, Elvira.  Elvira comically disrupts Charles' current marriage to Ruth.
