Augusta, Maine - At a news event held in the Hall of Flags this afternoon, Barclaycard announced that it would be expanding its Wilton, Maine operations by adding 200 new jobs.Patrick Wright, COO of Barclaycard, stated that the company will be adding 100 jobs within the first year, with 100 more to follow after. Barclaycard has been operating at its facility in Wilton since 2008, providing inbound telephone support for its card services and for its many partners.
Governor Paul R. LePage was on hand to personally congratulate the company and tout the economic success resulting from the administration’s policies to make Maine more business-friendly.
