Spin Doctors Takes Maine Lobster Festival Stage

ROCKLAND, Maine - The band "Spin Doctors" took the main stage during the 66th annual Maine
Lobster Festival in Rockland's harbor park on August 2nd, 2013. There was a pretty good crowed despite the rain to listen to them perform.

Opening for the Spin Doctors were the Hard Shell Conspiracy who are made up of three joggers.

Spin Doctors is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City, best known for their early 1990s hits, "Two Princes", and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong", which peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 7 and No. 17 respectively.

The current members are Chris Barron (vocals), Eric Schenkman (guitar and vocals), Aaron Comess (drums and percussion), and Mark White (bass guitar).

ROCKLAND, Maine - The 2013 Seafood Cooking Contest apart of the 66th annual Maine Lobster Festival in beautiful Rockland, Maine featured five talented contestants with delicious recipes! Below are those who won at this year's Seafood Cooking Contest.

Fifth place: Gerald Huang, and his Chili Lobster
Fourth place: Justin Libby, and his Buzzy Lobster Casserole
Third place: John Ruppert, and his Maine Lobster Mac-N-Cheese
Second place: Adam Marcus, and his Owls Head Lobster Etouffe
First place, for the SECOND year in a row!: Tyrrell Hunter, and her Spectacular Seafood Cannelloni
