Portland Unveils Redesigned Website

PORTLAND, Maine – The City of Portland is pleased to announce that it has unveiled a redesign of its website. The site, still found by going to www.portlandmaine.gov, includes a more modern and clean design with new quick keys that will improve customer service and provide residents and visitors a more user-friendly and intuitive experience when searching for information.

“We’re excited to be able to roll out this new and improved website. Our goal is to provide more transparency and a better online experience for our customers, and we feel that this site helps us achieve that,” said Jessica Grondin, Communications Director.

The City continues to urge citizens to sign up using the Notify Me feature so they can receive news, events, calendar items, parking ban notifications, general city alerts, and more sent directly to them via email and text.

The redesigned site is the result of a six-month long effort by City staff. The website continues to be powered by CivicPlus, a leader in providing websites for government entities. The new site once again features the work of Corey Templeton Photography. The City last unveiled a new website in 2014.
