Will Brown and Cindy Kallet enjoyed performing together in Rockland earlier this year. |
Brown will be joined for a number of songs by his Indiana-to-Maine commuting buddy, Cindy Kallet, and they'll sing a number of songs they have worked on together over the years. Cindy Kallet is known for her years in midcoast Maine as a songwriter, singer, and guitarist who has taught and performed extensively throughout North America in coffeehouses, concert halls, house concerts and music camps. She is renowned for her performances as will as her extensive recordings. “When I was torn between folk music and opera (!), Cindy was one of the reasons I chose to pursue folk music,” said Dar Williams. “Her music is lyrical and honest and connects with an intimate space that only a powerful solo performer can reach.” The combined talents, voices, and performing experience of Will Brown and Cindy Kallet create a delightful performance.
“An enjoyable evening awaits you!” promises Will. Admission to the performance on October 6 is $10 at the door only.
The Library Coffeehouse continues on first Thursdays with Lou and Peter Berryman on November 3, 2016.
