The proceeds from this annual golf tournament directly support the Mid Coast Center for Community Health and Wellness, offering quality health information, education, and resources. Programs offered by the Center focus on cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, weight loss, stress reduction, tobacco cessation, and asthma education. New initiatives include medical exercise for cancer and Parkinson’s Disease patients, as well as reestablishment of a long-time community favorite, “Lifestyle Choices.”“Each year, I am thrilled by the number of people who come out to support such a great cause,” said Cate Parker of Mid Coast Hospital’s Center for Community Health & Wellness. “The tournament is not only a way of giving back to the community, but a way for the community to become invested in its own health and vitality.”
North East Mobile Health Services has been the lead sponsor of the tournament since 2001.
