OHTM to Host Kickoff of North American Vintage Bentley Meet Sunday, May 18

Owls Head, Maine - The Owls Head Transportation Museum will host the kickoff portion of the North American Vintage Bentley Meet Sunday, May 18. The public is invited to visit the Museum and view these elite vehicles which are expected to be on the museum campus between 12 pm and 3 pm. Regular museum admission rates apply.

More than 30 vehicles are expected including some of the most prestigious cars in New England. Owners will be on hand to answer questions about their vehicles during parts of the afternoon.

“This is a rare opportunity for people in the Mid-Coast to see high-caliber, world-class Bentleys that have been shipped to Owls Head from all over the world. In addition to being beautiful historic examples these are operating vehicles mostly from the 1920s and 1930s,” Said Owls Head Transportation Museum Event Coordinator Toby Stinson.

Prior to arrival at the museum the Bentley owners will enjoy a scenic drive around Rockland, Owls Head, Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. They will journey to various attractions in their cars before gathering at the Museum for lunch, a museum tour and a very special driving skills competition.  For the vintage Bentley owners this event is the beginning of a weeklong driving tour of coastal Maine.
