“Songwriters Coffeehouse” 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. Led by veteran songwriters David Dodson and John Nicholas, the songwriters’ group has produced original work that spans from rockabilly to singer-songwriter, blues, ballads, love songs, and more. Suggested donation at the door will be $5.
Monday, June 9
Tammy Lee will present “Retrain your Brain to Form Healthy Habits through Yoga and Meditation,” at noon at the Camden Public Library, as part of the Wellness Brown Bag Lunch series co-sponsored by the library and PenBay Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Third-Grade History Night at the Camden Public Library, 5:00-6:00 pm. The students have created a local history website and 3D “Tunnel Books” based on a year-long project. During the event there will be an informational booth about Youth Arts, a tour of the History Center with center director Heather Moran, and a chance to meet author Liza Walsh, who worked with the students to develop their written narratives.

Marilyn Moss Presents “Bill Moss: Fabric Artist & Designer” at the Camden Public Library, 7:00 pm. The talk will draw on Marilyn Moss’s recently published book on Bill Moss, co-founder of Moss Tents and one of America’s most innovative fabric artists and designers, and a pioneer in the creation of tension fabric structures.

StoryCorps “Day of Listening” at the Camden Public Library, noon to 6:00 pm. Come listen to interviews recently recorded at the library by StoryCorps.
Thursday, June 12
Michael Lund presents “Frank Sinatra & Tony Bennett: Great Singers of the American Songbook,” 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. Lund adds commentary to the great recordings from Columbia and Capitol Records by these two great balladeers of the American songbook.
Tuesday, June 17
Dave and Sue Oakes will present “Climate Change: what everyone needs to know and do,” 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. The talk will look at both the “science” and the “social science” of climate change, drawing on the training and slide presentation of former Vice President Al Gore.
Thursday, June 19
“Pearl Harbor, 1941 – Did Roosevelt Know??” an illustrated lecture presented by Richard Cornelia, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.
