14th Annual Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show Opens

Rockland, Maine - With summer coming to a fast close the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors show takes center stage in Rockland, Maine's harbor park. The 14th Maine Boats, Homes & Harbor shows opened this Friday, August 12th, 2016 and ends Sunday, Augusta 14th, 2016.

The show features boats on land, in water, several vendors for food, get stuff for your home, boat, live music and more.

Show Dates & Times: Friday: August 12, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday: August 13, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: August 14, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Regular 1-day show admission: $12 adults, under 12 FREE admission

Boston Whaler® Rendezvous Boston Whaler enthusiasts from around the region will gather all weekend with their iconic boats to share stories and celebrate this popular brand. For Kids The show isn't just for adults...bring the kids to the Kids Marine Experience Park (Tent M), where it's all about creating, exploring, and learning, while learning about sea creatures and their environment, making nautical crafts, completing a scavenger hunt, and playing with boats in the model pond. The Art of the Refit Visit these docks to see fine examples of boats that have been revitalized by talented boatyards and boatbuilders from around the Gulf of Maine. Sponsored by Epifanes.

Live Music The MBH&H Show presents a fine and varied selection of live music on the Bandstand, which is conveniently located in Tent C near the food. It's a great place to take a short break or to meet up with your party. You'll find shelter, chairs to sit in, and best of all, wonderful performers strutting their stuff just for you. Demo Docks: Power and Sail Back by popular demand, the Demo Docks are where some fine power and sailing craft will be standing by, at the ready for sea trials. Potential boat owners can make an appointment to climb aboard and experience the ride (and Rockland Harbor) first-hand. Located on Dock F.

14th Annual World Championship Boatyard Dog® Trials - Sunday, August 14, 10:30 a.m. The excitement is building! The six brave (crazy?) competitors have been chosen for the seriously silly World Championship Boatyard Dog Trials, and they are busy honing their wild and wacky acts to wow the crowd. The 14th annual running of this pawsome event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the waterfront; gates will open at 9:45. Come cheer on your favorite pooch, but do leave your pets at home, they will not be allowed on show grounds.
