MAKE MUSIC PORTLAND is this Saturday on the Summer Solstice, June 21

50 musical acts will entertain around Portland -- Free

The public is encouraged to take part in the celebration 

PORTLAND, Maine — Saturday is National Music Dayin the United States and Make Music Dayinternationally.

This year, Mainers can take part in the global celebration of sound, which takes place on June 21, the summer solstice. Join the daylong festival taking place at public and private spaces all around Portland.

Featuring 50 musical acts, the festival is completely free to attend. See all the performances, this year's schedule, and learn about ways to make music at the festival at: www.makemusicportland.org.
