WARREN, Maine - Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Joseph Demmons, 29, of Holden. Demmons was last seen in Warren last night around 6:00. Deputies chased him through the woods behind Ande’s Variety off Rt. 1.
Demmons has 12 active warrants for arrest on him at this time. There are multiple ones for Failure to Pay Fines regarding Operating Under The Influence, Operating After Suspension, Refusing to Submit to Arrest, Violation Conditions of Release, and Criminal Threatening. He has two charges pending for Failure to Appear for Thefts. All warrants are out of Penobscot County in Bangor.
It was discovered that he had been staying out in the woods for some time in a make shift hut. Demmons had many trails out through the woods and the Deputies were unable to locate him.
Demmons is approximately 5 ft. 8 in. tall, 150 lbs. with brown eyes and red hair.

It is reported that Demmons now has a beard according to the Knox County Sheriffs Office. Please contact law enforcement if you have seen him.
