12:14pm UPDATE...The State Fire Marshal’s Office says a Rockport man was critically injured early this morning when fire destroyed his mobile home on Vinal Street. 64 year old Bruce Fales suffered smoke inhalation and was initially taken to PenBay Medical Center in Rockport and later transferred to another medical facility, likely Maine Medical in Portland. Fales was found outside the burning mobile home alongside his driveway. He lived there alone. The fire was reported about 3:30 am and the mobile home was flattened. Because of the extensive damage, the cause of the fire could not immediately be determined by Fire Marshal Investigators.
7:05am UPDATE..All Rockport fire units clear and returning. Fire marshals remaining on scene.
UPDATE...Mutual aid was called than cancelled due to nothing left. A fire marshal crew en route.
BREAKING NEWS....Rockport battling a 2nd alarm fully involved trailer fire around the 131 Vinal Street area in Rockport, Maine Tuesday morning, January 3rd, 2017.
According to Rockport fire, there's nothing much left, wants fire marshals notified.
One will be transported to Pen Bay.
