Hallowell, Maine - The Harlow Gallery presents “One-of-a-Kind”, a fundraiser exhibition offering a high quality range of affordable fine craft and art, including contemporary and traditional, functional and decorative. The show is on view at Harlow Gallery at 160 Water Street in Hallowell December 7-17, 2016 with a closing reception on Saturday, December 17, 5-8pm. Each item featured in “One-of-a-Kind” is completely one of a kind, original, and hand-made by a local artist. The exhibition and closing reception are free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12-6pm.
“Harlow Handmade”, also starting December 7, 2016, is on view inside the gallery window space. “Harlow Handmade” is a first-time mini exhibition offering an attractive selection of locally crafted, limited edition Harlow Gallery souvenirs with proceeds supporting Harlow programming in 2017. This mini exhibition promotes locally handmade craft while simultaneously promoting the Harlow Gallery. Featured artisans include: The Potter’s House (ceramics), Maine Naturals (soap), Malley Weber (ceramics), Shipwreck Coffee, the House of Bouton (textiles) and Harlow Gallery’s adult coloring book, featuring 41 diverse pages from over 20 Maine artists.
