Blue Hill, Maine - Castine musician and artist Juliane Gardner will show her photographs in the Blue Hill Public Library’s Britton Gallery during the month of December. The show will feature photographs of rocks and cloud formations.
About the rock photographs in the show Juliane says, “My intent behind capturing these beautiful little gems of nature, is to bring a bit of comfort in these troubled times and help us celebrate the intimate beauty of the Maine coastline and beyond. The Maine coastline has been a constant in my life and the source of my roots. So many times spent in rocky coves and inlets, skipping stones, saving them, cherishing some for color, for smoothness, others for their distinctive anomalies. I had no idea that all these weather worn rocks would affect my life, but they have in the most positive way.”
The exhibit will be available for viewing during library hours starting December 2nd. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
