Suspicious Package Closed Main Street From Park To Tilson Avenue

ROCKLAND, Maine - The Rockland Police, Fire & EMS closed off Main Street for a suspicious package found in front of Key Bank by a trash can around 12:30pm in the area between Park/Main and Tilson Avenue.

Suspicious package turned out to be a lunch bag left by a male who later returned to pick it up. The male was questioned by PD.

The bomb squad was called to the scene than later cancelled by Rockland PD.

At 1:10pm Main street was reopened with Rockland Police and Fire clearing the scene.
