DB&T Is Getting A New Look

Midcoast Maine, March 16, 2017: Damariscotta Bank & Trust is introducing a new logo. To commemorate this event, all branches will host a celebration on Friday, March 24 including donuts and coffee from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Giveaways and raffles will be featured at all DB&T locations throughout the day.

The new logo creates a fresh and unique visual identity that reflects who the bank is as a company, and what DB&T is known for within the industry.

“While our logo has a new look, our commitment to our community and our customers is the same as it was over 40 years ago when this bank was started,” DB&T President Scott Conant stated. “We feel that our new logo and brand displays our personality as a small community bank – local, knowledgeable, helpful, approachable, nimble, accessible, responsible and resourceful.  We are proud of the small bank that we are.”

Damariscotta Bank & Trust was started in the early 1970s to meet the needs of families and small businesses in the Damariscotta area. “After over forty years, we paused to take notice of our success in fulfilling those needs and how we have expanded our market area to include other communities in the Midcoast region,” Conant said.

"We’re also looking forward to an exciting future filled with changing technologies designed to enhance the convenience of the banking experience while continuing our culture of accessibility, knowledge and service," Conant elaborated. "We know that there are a lot of choices out there today for banking, but for those who are looking for a true community bank in the Midcoast area, you can be assured that you will be treated as an individual and not just a number.  We know our customers by name and our employees all live locally and volunteer within this community in so many ways.”

Over the months ahead, the public will start to see the bank’s look change. Signs will be replaced, mobile and online banking will have a new look, the website will be changed and much more.
