Talent Shines Bright At MRC Skating 'Make It Pop'

Rockport, Maine - Talent shined bright at Midcoast Recreation Center Skating School's annual Spring show entitled 'Make It Pop' this year on Saturday and Sunday, March 25th and March 26th, 2017 in Rockport, Maine.

A trio made up of Madelaine Martens, Jenna Taylor and Emie Wood skated to 'Mambo No. 5' by Lou Bega.

Soloist Miranda Dodge to 'ABC' by Jackson 5.

Caitlin Murbach skated to 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celine Dion.

Snowplow Sam, Basic 1's Abigail Erickson, Kaley Lincoln, Audrey Heyniger and Kaitlin Sylvester skated to 'Here Come The Sun/Drive My Car' by the Beatles.

Taylor Hodgdon skated to Alicia Key's 'Empire State of Mind'.

Lexi Tinch skated a solo to 'The Question of You' by Prince.

Theatre on Ice members Sophie Baker, Kira Bennett, Miranda Dodge, Margaret Kivus, Cara Rothwell, Burke Sabatini and Lily Wood skated to 'Material Girls' by Madonna.

Claudia Fox skated to 'Killer Queen' by Queen.

Jenna Taylor did a solo to Seal's 'Kiss From A Rose'.

Trio made up of Lily McVetty, Kimmy Roman and Lexi Tinch skated to 'September' by Earth, Wind and Fire.

Junior line's Sophie Baker, Miranda Dodge, Taylor Hodgdon, Lillian Nelson, Melanie Strout and
Claire Wyman skated to 'Lets Go Crazy' by Prince.

Kimmy Roman skated a solo to 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz.

Lily McVetty did a solo skate to 'Rocket Man' by Elton John.

Basic 2 and 3's Aleah Adkins, Timothy Bennett 2, Ella Fleur Capetta, Meredith Lewis, Miamar Matos, Amelia Mills, Alison Sylvester and Daphne Walsh skated to 'Jailhouse Rock Medley by Elvis Presley.

Madelaine Martens skated to John Lennon's 'Imagine'.

Emie Wood skated to 'Dream On' by Aerosmith.

Basic 4, 5, 6 skaters Elizabeth Akin, Kira Bennett, Margaret Kivus, Juliette Landry, Sadie Olmsted, Cara Rothwell, Burke Sabatini and Lily Wood skated to 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' by Cyndi Lauper.

During the Sunday only Claire Wyman skated to 'Wouldn't It Be Nice/Good Vibrations' by Beach Boys.

McKenzie Abendroth, Julie Downs and Caron Leichtman from the adult group skated to David Bowie/Queen's 'Under Pressure'.

Sophia Baker skated a solo to Katy Perry's 'Firework'.

Last to perform were the senior line skaters Madelaine Martens, LIly McVetty, Kimmy Roman, Jenna Taylor, Lexi Tinch and Emie Wood who skated to 'Smooth Criminal' by Michael Jackson.

All the skaters talent shined bright during Midcoast Recreation Center's Skating School 'Make It Pop' spring show.
