What: Cold Water / Cold Beer!

Time: Doors open at 6:30pm. Event will run until about 8:30pm.
Where: Flexit Café & Bakery (192 Main Street) in downtown Ellsworth, Maine
Cost: $10 in advance / $15 at the door; Free for kids in the “Fisheries Fun Zone.” Additional donations are encouraged. (All proceeds go toward Downeast Salmon Federation’s work on the Union River.)
Ellsworth, Maine - Cold Water / Cold Beer! is a fun benefit event to support Downeast Salmon Federation’s work on the Union River. This event is sponsored in part by Airline Brewing Co., Flexit Café & Bakery, Mongr, and Patagonia. Catering from Flexit Café & Bakery owner Paul Markosian with wild Alaskan smoked salmon from Mongr included as one of the hors d’oeuvres. (Mongr is a local, family owned and operated Wild Alaskan salmon company that donates 10% of their profits to Downeast Salmon Federation’s Atlantic salmon restoration work.) Maine Root root beer will be available as a non-alcoholic option. The evening will include musical entertainment by SHUSH (Sepp Huber and Sheila Unvala) and silent auction items from Patagonia!Executive Director of the Downeast Salmon Federation (DSF), Dwayne Shaw, will give a brief talk about DSF’s work involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) relicensing process for the Leonard and Graham Lake dams on the Union River.
Fun kids’ activities with College of the Atlantic – Summer Field Studies educators will be offered downstairs during the event!
Sliding Scale Admission: $10—in advance / $15 at the door; $20—Donors; $50-Patrons; $100—Sponsors; $250—Benefactor. Free for kids in the “Fisheries Fun Zone.” All proceeds go toward Downeast Salmon Federation’s work on the Union River.
