UMA Receives More Recognition for Support of Veterans: Makes Military Times Best for Vets List

UMA was notified on November 11th that it made the Military Times list of 2014 Best for Vets Colleges.

Augusta, Maine - Out of the nearly 600 schools applying this year, UMA ranked sixty-third in the 4-year schools category, eighty-six such colleges were ranked in this category.

For the past four years GI Jobs Magazine has selected UMA as a Military Friendly School. UMA was also just one of 20 schools nationwide to be awarded a 2009 grant by the American Council of Education and the Wal-Mart Foundation for its work with veterans and service members.
