Paving Project in Scarborough and Arundel/Kennebunkport
Scarborough, Maine - Crews will be paving in Scarborough and areas of Arundel and Kennebunkport beginning Thursday, August 9th through the end of the day on Friday, August 10th.
On August 9th, In Scarborough, the project will start on Route 114, beginning at the Turnpike overpass, extending northerly for approximately one and a half miles to Sweetbrier Lane. Travelers should expect delays and consider alternate routes as flaggers will assist motorists through alternating one-way traffic.
On August 10th, In Arundel/Kennebunkport, the project starts on Log Cabin Road, beginning at Route 1 extending southerly for five miles to Spring Street. Travelers should expect delays and consider alternate routes as flaggers will assist motorists through alternating one-way traffic.
Work hours on both projects will be from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While the paving in Scarborough is expected to be a one day event, the project in Arundel/Kennebunkport may stretch into Monday, August 13, due to there being no paving on the weekend.
