The Veayo Twins headline August 16th Cool Sounds Concert
Bangor, Maine - Downtown Bangor Partnership is excited to welcome The Veayo Twins to the Cool Sounds stage! The Veayo Twins are 16 year-old identical twin sisters that are known for their sweet vocal harmonies. Katherine and Kristen, play keyboard and guitar, respectively, although you can find Katherine on the drum kit at rock gigs! Their easy listening acoustic set heavily emphasizes catchy original melodies that often revolve around relationships, life experiences, and overcoming obstacles. Join the twins this week for a wide range of genres like heavy rock, indie, pop rock, and country.
The show is in conjunction with the Outdoor Market which features over 45 vendors selling Maine-made fine arts, select crafts, specialty food items and produce. All items are handmade, prepared or raised by the vendor. Items available include; art, baked goods, cheese, clothing, food, handbags, jewelry, photography, and much more. The market, located along Broad Street and in West Market Square, will be held from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM. For a complete list of vendors visit www.downtownbangor.com. The Cool Sounds free concert runs from 6:00 PM- 7:30 PM.
These events take place from 5:00-8:00 PM rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather. In the event of heavy rain market participation is at the discretion of the vendor and concerts will be moved under Pickering Square garage.
