The Mariners will kick of their 2016 campaign at home on September 3 against SUNY Maritime, for the second meeting between the two teams. On September 17, Maine Maritime Academy hits the road to take on Massachusetts Maritime in the 44th Annual Admiral's Cup, before returning home to host MIT on Homecoming in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) opener for both teams.
Maine Maritime will travel to Coast Guard on October 1 and host Endicott College on October 15, before hitting the road for-back-to back matchups against Curry College on October 22 and Western New England on October 29.
The Mariners will finish up the regular season with back-to-back home games against Nichols College on November 5 and Salve Regina on November 12 for Senior Day.
Last season, the Mariners went 3-6 overall and 2-5 in NEFC play, picking up thrilling victories against Massachusetts Maritime, claiming the Admiral's Cup for the first time since 2011, Curry on Senior Day and Nichols College in the regular season finale.
