Men's Golf Places Eighth at Maine State Championship

Thomas Spagnola finished in a tie for tenth place at the Maine State Championship
POLAND, Maine  - The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished eighth at the 2015 Maine State Intercollegiate Golf Tournament hosted this weekend at Fairlawn Golf Club.


The Polar Bears totaled 654 over the two-day tournament. St. Joseph's College won the title with a team score of 607.

 
How It Happened

  • Thomas Spagnola led Bowdoin with a two-day score of 155, highlighted by one of the tournament's  best rounds on Saturday (73).
  • Spagnola finished in a tie for tenth place individually.
  • Martin Bernard ended in a tie for 17th with a score of 158 (80-78).
  • Kevin Perron (173), Tyler Chonoles (175) and Jay Vaidya (176) rounded out the Bowdoin finishers

Up Next
  • Bowdoin will travel to the Bangor Golf Club next Saturday and Sunday for the Husson Invitational.
